Welcome to the website of the Beta Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. seated in the “Bull City” – Durham, NC. Since our chapter’s founding, May 7, 1938, the “Bull City Alphas” have been an integral part of the Durham-Orange County communities.

Brothers all across Area 3 participated in the annual @marchforbabies Triangle Walk, a movement dedicated to supporting families throughout their pregnancies by raising critical funds for March of Dimes. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.-Beta Theta Lambda Chapter and the Dr. Walter M. Brown Alpha Academy will have Part Two of our Project Alpha Session next Saturday, April 20th beginning at 10:00 am. Please register for this event. We expect this to be a great sessions for our youth, parents and guests. Door prizes will be given. Breakfast and lunch served. #projectalpha Let the countdown begin! We are less than a month away from our second annual Triangle Alphas Derby Party. Only a handful of tickets remain so be sure to click the link in our bio to attend the finest Derby Party in the triangle! This Saturday we will host a blood drive at Saint Joseph AME Church from 10-3. Please see the link below and in our bio to register and help support those in need! This year’s @nctrianglealphas Derby Party will feature a special showcase from internationally acclaimed and award-winning fine artist, Richard Wilson. Richard Wilson is currently a resident of Wendell, North Carolina and among his many accolades, holds the honor of being the first African American artist to have a portrait publicly displayed in a North Carolina courthouse.
